(CMO) This morning (August 7), at the Ca Mau Department of Health, Mr. Nguyen Van Tham, CEO of Viet Uc Ca Mau, representative of Viet Uc Seafood Corporation in Ca Mau, presented the Ca Mau Department of Health with 2 high flow oxygen ventilators (HFNC), for severe Covid-19 patients. The machine is manufactured in New Zealand, by Fisher & Paykel.
Celebrating the milestone of the 20-year journey of “For Vietnamese People – Raising the Level of Vietnamese Shrimp”, accompanying the whole country to overcome the pandemic, up to now, Viet Uc Seafood Corporation has donated: 2.1 tons of export quality shrimp and necessities to the people of Ho Chi Minh City; medical protective equipment for hospitals, at least 10 high-flow oxygen ventilators (HFNC) to the provinces: Bac Lieu, Soc Trang, Ca Mau, Ninh Thuan, Binh Dinh …; donated Ho Chi Minh City 1 high-function ventilator for Covid-19 patients at a critical level.
In addition, there are also imported 3M masks, level 3 protective clothing specifically for frontline medical staff, in direct contact with F0.
The total amount for the Community Support Program on this occasion is 3.5 billion VND.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tham, CEO of Viet Uc Ca Mau shared: “This is the third time that Viet Uc Group has sponsored Ca Mau, hoping to share and contribute to Ca Mau in preventing and treating Covid-19 patients. With the joint activities with the whole country to fight the epidemic, Viet Uc affirms that it will always accompany, not only shrimp farmers but also people across the country”.

Director of Ca Mau Hospital, Mr. Bui Duc Van, on behalf of the provincial health sector, acknowledged the sentiments and timely support of ventilators from Viet Uc Group. Because during this period, the hospital is in dire need of high-flow oxygen ventilators in the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
