On May 11-12, 2024, the Taste of Australia (ToA) event, organized annually by the Australian Consulate, took place at Le Van Tam Park, Ho Chi Minh City. On this occasion, Viet Uc Group introduced the product “Perfect Shrimp” produced according to a completely clean process, without using antibiotics throughout the life cycle and traceable origin: from parent shrimp, shrimp seeds, commercial shrimp, to processed products and on consumers’ dining tables.
The ToA event with unique cuisine prepared with Australian flavors, opened for the first time to the public, attracted a large audience. The highlight of the event was the positive feedback from consumers about the quality of the dishes. At the Viet Uc booth, perfect, fresh, and eye-catching shrimps were displayed attractively, attracting a large number of diners to try. The first impression of most diners was not only the freshness, sweet taste, and attractive color, but also the surprise when they learned that this was from frozen processed shrimp products. In particular, consumers who have the habit of buying fresh shrimp at the market or supermarket almost changed their thinking about their purchasing habits after hearing the story of producing clean shrimp in the closed chain process of Viet Uc Group.


“So what is the secret to keeping shrimp as fresh as freshly harvested even when frozen?” – This was the question asked by most of the guests at the event. The answer is thanks to 2 factors:

One is to minimize the distance and transportation time from the farm to the factory, all steps are done extremely quickly, because Viet Uc Group has invested in building a complex in which the high-tech shrimp farming model and the processing factory are located next to each other.
Second, Viet Uc uses super-fast freezing technology with the criteria of “fast – clean – cold”: Shrimp will be frozen by the super-fast IQF freezing conveyor system, lowering the core temperature of the product below -180C in 1 – 3 minutes, so the quality and structure of the product are kept the same as the original state when harvested from the pond. This is the secret to making shrimp, even after being frozen, still surprise diners because the shrimp retains its freshness, color and wonderful flavor.

In particular, after clearly understanding the origin of the product, the antibiotic-free production process throughout the life cycle, ensuring quality, cleanliness, and food safety, consumers will feel more secure when choosing healthy food for themselves and their families.
