Shrimp farming models

Viet Uc pioneer a shrimp farming concept named "VUS" or "VU Sustainability."

Using our own high-tech shrimp farming facilities and a team of technical support service providers, Viet Uc is guiding our farmers in adapting a zero-antibiotics production concept that is still highly effective and profitable.

Vietnam's shrimp farming, especially in the Mekong Delta region, is widely spread out with small-sized farming moving from earth pond to lined pond production. Large-scale and more advanced farming is still limited. Utilizing intake water and treating effluents in a way that minimizes negative impact to the environment is a big question in our industry.

Our VUS shrimp farming model goes beyond zero-antibiotics to provide a solution to reduce water exchanges by at least 30%. This helps control negative impact to the environment better via limiting water discharge and abuse of chemicals and other potentially harmful treatment products.
